MEMORANDUM
To: All staff
From: Brian Candler (B.Candler@pobox.com)
Delivery date: Mon, 28 May 2007,13:47:03
Subject: Long-distance calling instructions
Next month, there will be an important change to the way we make long-distance telephone calls. This should help provide extra security for our telephone systems. Your authorization number will go from four digits to five digits in length. A "3" will be added to the start of your authorization number. For example, if your number was "1234" , it will change to "31234" . Remember that if you have automatic telephones or fax machines, they will have to be reprogrammed.
The authorization number is not necessary when making-local calls.
Why is the change outlined in this memo made?
