Cliff Climbing
If you prefer to climb real cliffs in a natural setting, there are a few places you can go during the weekends.
Fenghuang Hill, located in Haidian District. There are cliffs with heights ranging from 10 to 100 meters.
Qinglong Gorges, an ideal place for cliff climbing with beautiful views. The cliffs are accessible by boat. And you can take bus No. 16 from Xuanwumen or Dongdaqiao.
Baiwang Hill located 3 km away from the north gate of the Summer Palace, has cliffs of 16.8 meters high. There are 12 climbing routes for both amateurs and professionals. And you can take bus No. 330 at the north gate of the Summer Palace to Heishan Beikou.

Archery
Archery can help you forget everything else and focus just on one target. The Hongbi Archery Center on the Xiaojiahe Road near the Summer Palace has three indoor archery ranges. Two rooms, 10 meters and 12 meters long respectively, are for amateur players. The other range, which is 28 meters long, is for professionals. The center can accommodate more than 70 players at a time, and offers free coaching.

Drama
