题目内容

听力原文: Hong Kong is on alert for a new and unwelcome visitor. The Health Secretary York Chow announced territory-wide inspections for the native South American red fire ant, after its anthills were found in Hong Kong's rural new territories.
The ant gets its name from the burning sensation caused by its sting. An attack by a swarm of the reddish-brown insects can cause allergic reactions which can be fatal in extremely rare cases. As if that wasn't enough, the infestation of red fire ants is also threatening the supply of tangerine trees from across the border in China, which are part of Hong Kong's traditional way of celebrating the lunar New Year — coming up on February 9.
Chinese customs officers across the border are reported to be holding up shipments to try to control the spread of the insects.
