Multisim provides a number of virtual instruments such as Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Bode Plotter, Logic Analyzer and Spectrum Analyzer .
Some of these instruments are based on instrument manufacturers such as Agilent and Tektronix. These instruments are set, used and read just like their real-world equivalents .
Let’s take an example of a transistor amplifier circuit. We will simulate the circuit to perform the transient analysis. Select component of the transistor amplifier circuit and oscilloscope, place them on the workspace and wire the circuit.
Here, we have chosen transient analysis . Click on Simulate button. The simulation window appears which consists of input transient waveform and output transient waveform.
