Many governments are promoting above-and underground transit systems to fight increasingcongestion. Urban trains are appearing in the wideof the western United States. Recently, citizens in Austin, the capital of Texas, for a new public train program similar to that in Dallas, which will use existing railroad tracks already in placethe city. What is happening in Texas reflects a growing elsewhere in the United States-in many places, the public is ready to invest in public transportation. However, a majority of Americans still by car and most transportation funds are spent on building roads. In other countries, riding buses, trains or is part of everyday life and there is a tremendous growth of investment in public transit. Urban transport can help cities develop without the environment with excessive gas emissions because electrically delivered urban transport isclean and it can also carry far more people in terms of the amount of energy used.
