Liu successfully president the projects of China-France Joint study of Tidal S2.______
Deposition in the eastern Bohai Sea since 1996 to 2000.
In the projects, Liu S3.______
and her colleagues put forward sedimentation patterns of six modern tidal system
and some Holocene tidal system in the Chinese offshore area. For her prominent S4.______
work, Liu twice won a second price for Advancement in Science and Technology
issue by the State Oceanic Administration. In 1999, she was granted an active S5.______
member honor by the New York Academy of Sciences. In 2002, she became a
member for the American Association for the Advancement of Science. S6.______
Liu has published more than 40 papers in Marine Geology, the Journal of
Asian Earth Sciences, Sciences in China and many others science journals, Liu S7.______
has invited to participate in international symposiums and joint researches in the S8.______

Currently, Liu conducts her research in the First Institute of Oceanography
Under the State Oceanic Administration. She is also a doctoral student
