Pathways to Research: Problem-solving
(1) Pittsburgh&39;s many hills aren&39;t kind to bikers. Anyone hoping to pedal to work there has to contend with steep streets like Canton Avenue, which famously climbs at a nearly 40-degree angle. As a result, some residents avoid biking altogether.
(2) But University of Pittsburgh graduate Micah Toll,23, and a few friends recently launched an invention that they hope will increase the city&39;s pedal power. An electric bike called to Pulse PEVO.
A super-strong battery powers the bicycle. Able to hit nearly 20 miles per hour without pedaling, it zips up the city&39;s most daunting(令人却步的)hills. Toll hopes it will persuade people in Pittsburgh and elsewhere to get out of their cars and onto bikes.

Shared self catering student apartments
The school offers accommodation in SHARED self-catering student apartments. These can be booked together with the course. Each apartment is used by 5 to 9 students from Elanguest and you can reserve either a double room or a single room. The prices are quoted per person per day and not per apartment. This gives you the opportunity of sharing an apartment with other students even if you are coming to Malta on your own.

Bed linen(which is laundered by the school on a regular basis, one towel per student, weekly cleaning of common areas, all kitchen equipment—pots, pans, cutlery, dishes etc. and use of a washing machine in nearly all cases.
